The frost was thick and the early sun created diamond light that reflected in my eyes.Birds were fluffed out,still on the branches,my boots crunched on the path.It was the begining of a new day,I felt a lifting in my heart as my dog raced by me, happy to be on a walk.At the spring the mists were swirling above the water,deer tracks told me they had come and gone,the water was cold and fresh,what a gift this experience.The watercress was bright and fresh,the peppery flavour slowly awakening my mouth.Thank God for tests,when I can come through to days like this..........................
