Arrival

This meeting,pure luck,a chance to dance in trance.It took a vast amount of energy to manifest.It began with the idea that it might be an amazing experience and culminated in a 14 hour drive into no-mans land where cell phones did not work.In a dark forest where roads looked like driveways and ended suddenly.Where Rafael was not known and Jody was thankful for not being shot at.After a 10 point turn on a narrow track,reaching higher ground....the cell phone works.............................Good humour is everywhere,giggles,two sets of excitement,the message is clear.........We are lost!!!..................We found each other in the dark between two bridges,the Northfork and Spring Creek.More laughter on realising it had been so close,just a turn away.............We parked under a starry sky and breathed in the cool still air.The quietness was loud.We smiled,welcome I said.Soft lights,crystals and candles,fire and hot tea.More laughter,tales of endless driving.................I am impressed with the comfortable energetics.We bring in the suitcases.A hot tub is ready at 110 degrees.Slipping into twinkling silence,chilling in the hot water,eyes talking,smiling.Soft voices comforting.Later,cool air refreshing,warm bath house transition.................Hugs,good night all is well,relief...............................................................................I wake up and slip on some sweats.Grind the beans,put the kettle on.Watch the Cardinals,Finches,Nuthatches,Tit-mouses,Woodpeckers of all sorts getting theirs....BEEP,I am back,there is movement,good morning!.....good coffee.Heavy bird activity.Fill the blender,soymilk,yoghurt,papaya,banana,kiwi,blueberry,strawberry,macca,protein powder,mmmm..good...............The sun is out,north wind chill factor is in,walking feels great.Moss is vibrant on the trails.Bare trees,lichen on the rocks,the tan grass sways.My breath is seen then gone.Climbing steps.Cheryl is great after two knee replacements.We sit on a bench beneath the dogwoods and contemplate the space.Early morning glitter on the river,more birds flying,a dog running.The wind in the cedar trees talking story.We just being in this natural place,keep walking,slowly,evenly,a meditation.Flowing into the ground,feeling the energetics all around.Out of the trees onto the lawn,up in the sky a majestic bird wheels,shows us his tail,white,an eagle.That sets us talking,a good sign indeed.The gravel bar had many faces,lying deadly still,ageless.The rivers riffles,bubbling,gurgling,spinning.Dog is swimming,tree climbing,stuntman stuff.Water is crystal clear,cold and reflects blue sky.......................................Back in the house it is warm and thoughts of Journeys are forming,sweet comfort of warm water,floating into the mists of our unconcious,our dreams..........................................................mmmmmm
