What was the most difficult promise you made?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 02, 2008:

At one time I was an artdirector for a company and after 2 years of that I promised myself that I would never work in that way again.I decided that living life was an art. There was the part you did to sustain life, and this to me meant something I was excited about doing...it usually involved an artistic project of some kind and paid the bills. Then there were the times when I could chase the rainbow and play in life,do what I felt like for a while, this usually involved a surf trip to some exotic wave,or skiing, maybe a week of biking....Balancing all this and living dangerously close to the edge has been the art, trusting that the future will reveal itself in ways that I will be able to sustain myself.Funny,I still have fear only to find there was no reason for it,only my trust had worn thin...So this promise to trust the universe will provide the situation and I supply a way to make it work for me has been tested, and I almost broke down so many times, but I am blessed to be here still living artfully and loving it more than ever because time builds trust...and the art improves and nature loves to play....I promise

“Life is an art”…..so wonderfully put, Ralph!
We so worship the divine and what is instilled in us, and to bring it out in our art form of being, is everything god would expect from us.
It always challenges one to the endth degree…does it not?
This is good…..for it only awakens ones belief and trust to our inner God…our sanction and livelyhood their-in and to the utmost of our incounter of……..

Never give up hope and most of all…..NEVER have it grow thin!!!

Love you….and always remember the innocence of your birthright;  never challenge the master and just be the best to his/our advantage!
