What is your unique ability?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for April 29, 2009:
I have been told.......that I have a way of being with people in warm water that is transformational...I feel honoured by that word, and have to add, that the most powerful work happens when I can be the channel and let the muse(s) play.......So for me personally the unique ability is once I am in the water,I can disolve and become a part of the whole....and as I have mentioned, the water is full of incredible energies..2 years worth and is charged...I am sure Masuro Emoto would have a beautiful crystal from it....So as I come to stillness and quiet my breath..the lack of gravity makes me light on my feet,I am almost floating....barely breathing....slowly disappearing...and from this empty place a dance begins..I am present for most of it,using zen-shiatsu stretches and point work in harmony with the currents created specifically for the area I am working on. In the water the body is so much more accessible,it is beyond 3D...After 11 years of experimentation, minus a year of teaching...(had to jump out of the box) I am still facinated,in love,in gratitude and have a deep respect for WATER...and the Unique ability to create an amazing experience for those who enter the warm pool of Waterjourneys............

Help

One day I would love to experience this. I've been “floated” a few times before in my life, but never by someone who does the work professionally. I'm sure it's amazing.
You can float in the great salt lake. And the dead sea for that matter.
Now Siona, do you mean “floated” like in an (I'll call it) anti-gravity pool where you are on top of water, and the lights are out completely?
No, I mean floated by someone else, where you, as the floatee, lies in the water, while someone else supports you. I'm sure Ralph can explain. :)
Yes, I'd like to know too, Ralph. How do you float someone else - or what I want to know is; is that a kind of healing or theraphy?
Siona is right, my work is based on Watsu, which is a form of aquaticbody work..there are many videos on U-tube. It is a very nurturing and healing type of therapy. Waterjourneys is what I developed over the years and combines Watsu,Wassertanzen(which is done by taking the client under the water)Jahara tecnique,AquaWellness and Healing Dance…..All of which involve 98 degree water a practitioner and client………..What Ryon is Talking about is a deprivation tank..very different…….Siona,if you ever need to take a break,I would be happy to gift you a stay and float you ,and yes it is absolutely amazing…….Thank you all for the interest and the visit….love :~)
alluring, exciting, calming…
i hear the heart of water calling……………
so i am a jumping in……mmm…refreshing as always………and hey, Ralph. I can stay afloat too…..lol…but not for long……but anyway, I think your waterjourneys are awesome and just reading about it is transformational for me….
hugs and an ocean of love
Amy :))
I'll float in your ocean of love….thanks AmySun, having gentle support while floating puts one at ease and generates trust, very important…some of my clients fall asleep…and dream..wake up and fall asleep again…I am happy you jumped in,your energy is a beautiful addition……love R
“and become a part of the whole.”.. nice!!
